Velocity is currently looking for a HGV 2 Multidrop Driver to join their team in Annitsford, Cramlington. This is a Contract position offering £29k - £32k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description
Velocity are recruiting for HGV Class 2 multidrop drivers to work for their busy client in Cramlington. You will be required to do 12 drops on a morning followed by the same amount of collections on an afternoon. You will also be required to use a PDA, so previous experience would be very useful. Handballing may be required so it is important that you are physically fit. Valid licence, CPC and digi card are required and you must have held your licence for at least 12 months. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
