Job Description

Got People are recruiting for a HGV 1 Driver to work Nights for our client based in the Coventry area. This will involve Trunking work and some delivery work, a perfect role for HGV 1 drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company. Requirements of a HGV1 Driver Minimum 2 Years HGV driving (Cat CE). Be able to complete designated runs in a timely and professional manner. Have a valid CPC and Digi Tacho No more than 6 points (No DR or IN) Must have the correct PPE - HI Vis and Safety…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
