Job Description
ARC are recruiting on behalf of a market leading client for Class 1 drivers to work within their organisation. the Role: Class 1 drivers required to work with a well-established general haulage distributor. Working as a class 1 driver you will be required to do the following within the role - delivering products to clients around the country. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
