Job Description

Optima Site Solutions is looking for a Forklift Truck Driver to start a project in Newcastle (NE10) Requirements * Valid CPCS Card * Reach Truck Forklift Licence * Full UK Driving Licence * Confident driving a long wheelbase Transit van * Full PPE Duties * Making local deliveries using the company van * Loading and unloading vans * Assisting installation teams with loading and offloading materials on site * Receiving deliveries into the warehouse * Preparing pallets * Keeping the warehouse clea…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
