Job Description
As an FLT Operative at Enva’s WEEE Transfer Site in Stourbridge, you will play a vital role in the safe handling, movement, and processing of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). You will operate a forklift truck to load, unload and transfer materials. This includes small domestic appliances and refrigeration units ensuring they are directed to the correct recycling streams. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
