Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Stalybridge. The role involves supporting day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently. Duties will include operating a forklift truck, loading and unloading deliveries, and moving stock between warehouse and production areas. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
