Job Description
Drivers Mate - JW Lees Brewery, Middleton We are pleased to be recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join the Logistics Team at the Greengate Brewery. The successful candidate will begin full training to progress to a Class 2 Driver within the first 6 months. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
