Job Description
Drivers Mate – Southampton £13.05 per hour | Overtime £19.73 (over 48 hours) Weekend availability is mandatory – please do not apply if you are unable to work at least one day of the weekend. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
