Job Description

HGV Driver Trainer Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Location: Ridding, DE55 4BR Hours: based on 45 hours per week Mon - Fri (flexibility required for early starts / shifts) We're looking for an experienced Driver Trainer to join the Silver X Group and play a key role in improving driver performance, safety, and compliance across our mixed HGV fleet. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
