Job Description

Thrive Skelmersdale are recruiting Class 1 (Cat CE) drivers with refrigerated trailer experience for our well-established client in the Preston area. This will be holiday cover/ ad-hoc basis, but this could lead to ongoing work for the right candidate. The candidate must have the below. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
