Backline Logistics is currently looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver/FLT/Warehouse Operative to join their team in New Buildings, Sandford. This is a Contract position offering £26k - £27k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description
We are looking for a Class 2 driver with a current FLT ticket for a full time position. You will be driving and working in a warehouse on a rota. You will need a digi and CPC card and a current FLT licence. 8 hour day - Monday to Friday. Full training given. Good numeracy, reading and literacy skills required. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
