Job Description
HGV II / C Pallet delivery drivers required for an outstanding distribution company based out of Ely in Cambridgeshire. This family operated haulier works 24 hours a day and is looking for additional day drivers on a Monday to Friday basis on the Pallet Distribution side of its business. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
