Job Description
We are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our growing team on a Temp to Perm basis in the Preston area. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable, long-term position with competitive pay and the potential for permanent employment after 12 weeks. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
