Job Description

The Best Connection - Manchester is currently recruiting a Skip Driver on behalf of our client, a market leader in their industry. Pay & Working Hours £14.50 per hour ( 10 hr day £145.00 per day ) Monday to Friday, 07:00 start Minimum 8 hour's pay per day Job Role Safely operate a Class 2 skip loader vehicle Collecting and tipping 8-12 skips per day Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time Dealing with Customers daily…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
