Job Description

We are delighted to be assisting our client in Peterhead who are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their growing team. Hours of work: 40 hours per week plus 1 day every second weekend (guaranteed overtime weekly to take hours up to 50) Your key duties and responsibilities will be: Delivering Ambient, Fresh and Frozen goods to vessels at various Quaysides Loading and unloading of goods using PPT and Tai lift Completing relevant paperwork for deliveries Communicating with vessels upon delivery…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
