Job Description
Infinity Employment are looking for a Class 2 driver for a new permanent role with our Steel specialist client in Havant. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for regular Monday - Friday Class 2 work in a low pressured industry and environment. The work will require a mixture of deliveries and collections to be carried out, some handball is required to strap and chain the steel but due to the nature of the product, the deliveries will be forklifted off. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
