Job Description
DNA are looking for multiple class 2 Days drivers for our client based in Birmingham The days drivers are required to start between 0500-0800 on general haulage (10-20 drops locally) on £15ph (PAYE) with OT at £18 paid after 50 hours and also weekend rate is £21 ph, this involves minor handball (electric pump truck taking pallets off a tail lift) Drivers should have a min of 12 months on their class 2 with no more than 6 points for minor endorsements, No DD,DR or IN codes This role will require…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
