Job Description
Class 2 Driver (Cat C) required for our client based in Walsall. Day work with early starts between 04:00-07:00am. The vehicle is either a Drop Sided or Curtain Sided Lorry and you are driving to 1 - 3 destinations each day depending on volumes of work and where the deliveries are, you will need to have strapping experience to help secure goods and keep the products your are delivering dry. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
