Job Description

Class 2 Bin Lorry driver Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Bin Lorry driver for our client based in Peterborough. Main Duties: Drive/operate waste collection vehicles safely and collect waste from customers premises. Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and load is safe for the public highway.Comply with all highway rules, e.g. speed limits and weight/height limits. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
