Job Description
Our client, a national removals and storage company, require an experienced Class 1 Trunking driver on days. Immediate Start. Due to location of site your own transport is essential. What You'll Need: Valid Category CE (Class 1) Licence. Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card. A reliable, professional attitude toward vehicle care and road safety. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
