KPI are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Trampers for our client in Heysham Variuos Shift Patterns Available The job role involves: Driving a class 1 General haulage Store deliveries Delivering to various destinations across the UK Daily vehicle inspections Upkeep of vehicle Paye rate days: £17.50 Monday - Friday (Days) £20.00 Saturday £20.00 Sunday £20.00 Night Out To be succesful for this role you must have the following: HGV 1 Licence Valid CPC card Valid Digi card No more than 6 points …
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
