Connect Appointments is currently looking for a Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their team in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire. This is a Contract position offering Up to £39k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for ongoing tramping work with our Cross Hands based client. In this driving role you'll drive fridge work temperature controlled units, performing 2/3 drops per day across Wales and England - no handballing. What's on offer? Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
