Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Class 1 Shunter for our night shift operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Safely and efficiently moving trailers and tugs through the confines of the yard, adhering to all site speed limits and traffic management systems Conducting thorough pre-use checks on all vehicles and equipment before commencing work Strictly adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations at all times, including wear…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
