Job Description

AFI is currently looking to recruit a Class 1 Driver to work night shifts from our Wakefield depot, Mon – Fri, 45 hours (9 hours per day), start time around 4.30pm, collecting and delivering machinery around our depot network, along with customer sites. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
