About This Role
Duke Distribution is currently looking for a Class 1 Hgv Driver to join their team in Whitwell, Worksop. This is a Full-Time position offering £55k - £65k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description
DUKE Distribution is continuing to grow and we’re looking for professional and dependable HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers to join our expanding transport team. This position is a full-time tramping role, Monday to Friday, typically involving a minimum of four nights out each week. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
