Job Description

MKD Recruit are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 NIGHT Drivers to join a growing client, a pallet distribution company at their site in ELY, Cambridgeshire. This is a Night JOB. Meaning you will be driving in the dark, so scaredy cats need not apply. You will be taking a pre-loaded trailer of varied goods on Pallets to a HUB, the client goes to 3 different hubs south and Midlands based. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
