Job Description
Class 1 HGV Driver Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based at East Midlands Gateway. Our client is able to offer Class 1 Drivers long term ongoing work with opportunities to go permanent as well. You will undertake trunking work on both box trailers and curtain siders to RDC's and NDC's around the UK. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
