Job Description
Major Recruitment are looking for Class 1 day and night drivers in Droitwich. Monday to Friday Day shifts available. varied start times ongoing work curtainsiders General haulage and trunking holiday paid on top weekly pay-Must have held Class 1 licence over 6 months -Must have over 6 months experience in Class 1 -Must have valid CPC and tacho INDSW
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
