Job Description
CLASS 1 DRIVER / AFTERNOON SHIFT CLS Recruitment are recruiting for a class 1 driver to join our client on Fradley Park This is a temp to perm position, the driver will be required to start around 12:00/12:30pm daily starting from their depot on Fradley Park The job would consist of 2 collections daily from Rowley Regis / the job would be based on approx 9 hours daily Location Fradley Park / Lichfield Salary - £44,200 To be considered for this role, you must have the following; Minimum 6 months…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
