Job Description
Hi everyone, We are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team for ongoing work based out of Foston. You will be working directly through JT Recruit, representing us with one of our key partners in the area. This is a General Haulage role, so if you are looking for more variety than just standard RDC-to-RDC bay work, this is the perfect fit. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
