Job Description

Ideal Recruit is currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 (CE) day drivers and trampers to join our client’s growing transport operation based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional and well-established logistics team, offering long-term, ongoing work with consistent shifts. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
