Class 1 driver required - Swindon Our client,a leader in the food industry are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Swindon with Immediate starts. You will be making between 2-5 deliveries/collections per shift Requirements: Valid Class 1 Licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions) 1 Year Class 1 Experience required. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
