Job Description

HGV Class 1 Driver (LTD) JT Recruit are currently recruiting professional HGV Class 1 LTD Drivers for an ongoing contract with a major logistics firm based in Alfreton. The site runs 7 days a week, with peak volumes over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). We have flexible options available for both day and night shifts depending on your availability. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
