Job Description
Taylor Stevenson is acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Barnsley. Our client is a general haulage distribution company delivering goods nationwide for various logistics businesses. We are seeking experienced HGV CLASS 1 /CE DAYS Drivers to work on an on going/temp to perm basis. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
