Biffa Waste Services is currently looking for a Class 1 Driver to join their team in Dunoon, Argyll & Bute. This is a Full-Time position offering From £30k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver – can be based out of Lochgilphead or Campbeltown, Argyll & Bute 39 hours per week, times to suit starting location Salary: £15.05 per hour Overtime paid at 1.5 times In this role your primary function is to drive various vehicles for the transportation of waste/recyclates, to comply with all aspects of Health & Safety and the Company’s contractual obligations with the local authority. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
