Job Description

SRG Recruitment are seeking a Class 1 Driver to join their client's team in Chichester, a family-owned road haulage business who offer UK pallet deliveries. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be joining an existing team of 3 other HGV1 drivers, completing various deliveries including general haulage, pallet deliveries and Hub runs. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
