About This Role
Major Logistics Midlands is currently looking for a Class 1 Driver AM/PM available to join their team in Sleight, Devizes. This is a Contract position offering £35k - £37k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description
Major Recruitment are looking for Class 1 drivers in Devizes Monday to Friday AM and PM shifts available general trunking and haulage curtainsiders varied start times weekly pay holiday pay on top-Must have minimum 6 months experience on Class 1 -Must have held Class 1 minimum 12 months (can be 6 months if you have 6 months driving experience in Class 1) -Must have valid CPC and Tacho Call or Text Sam (phone number removed) INDSW
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
