Job Description
Based at RXO Derby DeportPride park Area We are looking for 2 x HGV Class 1 Day Drivers Based inDerby on Full Time basis running out Monday to Friday each week Requirements Must have 12 months experience driving Class 1 within the UK Maximum 6 points on Licence You will be expected to use delivery app on your phoner on daily basis , however you do receive expenses for this. Over 24 years of age. Start immediate after assessment and induction.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
