Major Industrial is currently looking for a Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to join their team in Whitchurch, Shropshire. This is a Contract position offering £28k - £36k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 1 (HGV 1) and Class 2 (HGV 2) on behalf of a well-established distribution company based in Whitchuch on an ad hoc basis. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
