Job Description
Calling all Class 1/ Class 2 HGV Day / Tramper Drivers! We have an amazing opportunity for you to work with a family owned company in the Ford area. You will play a vital role in transporting horticultural plants from nurseries to garden centres, delivering pallets as well as general haulage. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
