Job Description

Competent drivers with both PCV & HGV (class 2) entitlement sought for trade plate vehicle deliveries in the UK & EU. Contracts include delivering new electric buses/coaches from docks or manufacturers to various locations around the UK. HGV work is for new cat C vehicles to be delivered around the UK or new specialist vehicles weekly from Calais to the UK then onwards to various locations within the UK. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
