Job Description

Recon are currently recruiting for a HGV 7.5t driver in West Thurrock, the job involves driving a flatbed truck. Due to the nature of the job you must be physically fit as some manual handling is involved and have experience using ratchet straps. Also must be willing to undertake Moffett training. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
